I’ve always found it quite amusing, this whole gang mentality between road cyclists and mountain bikers. It’s like you must pick a side and fall in line :P
Well there’s road bikers - with their skinny bikes, plastic pedals, and of course the lycra. And then there’s mountainbikers with their fat bikes, baggy shorts and helmet visors.
The thing is, I’ve wanted to put some clip pedals on my road bike (to go even faster), but decided to stick on MTB pedals, since then I only need one pair of shoes.
But when I was riding in today, I got told off by a Roadie for using the wrong type of pedals. Haha.
So maybe I’m not a girly Roadie, or a Mountainbiker.... I’m just a Rebel, yeah ;)
Anyway, that’s probably enough geeky biker talk for most of you.
