It is 1:45am and I am sitting in the lounge by myself listening to Radio sport while I type this post. My beloved Crusaders are playing the evil Bulls and we have just lost the lead. The Bulls have just nosed in front, 25-20. The commentator is so dramatic and the crowd is deafening. My heart is racing. Oh how much I want the Crusaders to win....
My original plan was to watch it at the local bar. I had rung them earlier yesterday to confirm it as an option and the girl on the phone assured me that they "always show the rugby!!" as if I was stupid or something. Well when my flatties and I arrived it was ominously dark and quiet. They were closed!!!! I can't believe she lied to me! I was so disappointed. The driving and parking in town is just too much to make me bother with that. Turns out none of the suburban bars are open at this time. Oh I wish we had Sky (Sport), I don't need ANY of the other channels. My mate Howie lives nearby and has Sky, but not Sport (I know, sacrilege!!!). And well, its just way too late to be ringing up my Aunty, not that I'm sure she has Sport either :)
Well there's my rant, but I need some way to expend the energy stored up from that 'coffee' pill 30 minutes ago!!
In other news, I went up the Sky Tower last night. Its my first up there, can you believe. How awesome but far out, so scary!! (I am really not good with heights). Those glass panels on the floor are cool but I can't help but think about how strong that glass is, it's a long way down....
